Hello, Silvia, and Welcome Home to the Disney Vacation Club corner of planDisney! I am excited as always to meet another Member and talk all things DVC. Let's make some magic! One of the best parts of Disney Vacation Club Membership is the ability to use your Vacation Points flexibly. This includes exchanging your points for Disney theme park vacations around the world--including Tokyo Disney Resort! This was the first international Disney destination, opening in 1983 (sorry, I can't resist a bit of Disney history!). It features two theme parks, Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea, and has multiple hotels to choose from for a magical overseas stay. The Tokyo DisneySea Hotel Miracosta is a gorgeous Mediterranean-themed resort that's actually located within the theme park and has a dedicated pathway for Guests to enter Tokyo DisneySea directly. July is not very far away, Silvia, so let's talk about how to exchange your Vacation Points to book your dream vacation. First, I recommend checking out the Points Charts, which show the points needed for all Disney resorts in the US and internationally. It appears that July charts are not yet available for the Tokyo resorts--but don't worry! Reservations for these hotels cannot be made until 4 months before your check-in date. I would contact Member Services now via chat or phone to make sure that all of your ducks are in a row as rooms can go quickly. A few things to keep in mind:
Silvia, I hope this information is just what you need to make your dream vacation a reality. Disney Vacation Club membership really is magical, isn't it? Say hello to Duffy the Disney Bear in Tokyo for me!Wishing you the best day ever!Susan
