Where can I find a book with photos of the Magic Kingdom to better prepare my granddaughter (age 4) on what to expect when we visit the park.

    Hi Sue,

Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. I love that you are thinking about preparing your granddaughter for her visit to Magic Kingdom. It is often very helpful for young children to get a preview of what they are going to see.

When I was in Walt Disney World a while ago, I purchased a book called Let the Memories Begin! Impressions of Walt Disney World Resort, by Jen Darcy and Jennifer Eastwood. This is a coffee table book with beautiful photos of many parts of Walt Disney World, including Magic Kingdom. I also own The Unofficial Guide: The Color Companion to Walt Disney World by Bob Sehlinger and Len Testa. This unofficial book includes photos of many Magic Kingdom attractions. Although the text in both of these books is intended for adults, the photos will be nice for your granddaughter. Both of these books are currently available through amazon.com.

Also, consider ordering the Walt Disney World planning DVD. Watching this DVD with your granddaughter, she will see may of the places that she will encounter at Walt Disney World, including Magic Kingdom.

I hope that these thoughts are helpful for you, Sue. Have a great time planning your vacation, and please do let us know if you have any further questions.
