Hi Clinton!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Wahoo!! The countdown to non-stop fun is ON and you must be bursting with anticipation!
I am so glad you asked this great question about the boarding process! Good news! You do not need a boarding pass ahead of time, so you are not missing anything! Hopefully you received your “Mickey Mail” with your cruise information booklet and
luggage tags in the mail. That is all you need to bring to the port with you for embarkation (well, don’t forget passports and/or identification necessary for your specific voyage). Affix the luggage tags to your suitcases at the port or right before you head there so that they do not accidently get damaged or unintentionally removed before arriving at the port. After you drop your checked luggage with the porters outside, you will enter the terminal and go through the check-in and registration process. At this time, you will receive your Key to the World Card which acts as your stateroom key and it is also used to make onboard purchases. Any Mouseketeers that have been registered for the
Youth Clubs will receive their Oceaneer Band and you will also receive a boarding card number. Then, once Guests begin being welcomed onboard, you will wait until your specific boarding card number has been called and then your adventure really begins! If in the event you have not yet received your “Mickey Mail”, don’t worry! Just make sure you have your Port Arrival Time form printed out and bring that with you to the port.
Have just the BEST time, Clinton! Make some magical memories and say hi to Captain Mickey for me!
Stephanie
