Where can I find out the best day of the week to visit which park? I prefer not to attend during a special event such as Star Wars etc.

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Kimberly! I visit Walt Disney World Resort at several different times of the year, and I believe I have a “feel” for the crowds and activities at each time. I also have my preferred activities for crowded times that make me feel like I’m really discovering something new!

When I’m planning a vacation, the first thing I do is consult the UnderCover Tourist Crowd Calendar (you can google it and it will come right up in search results). The at-a-glance calendar gives you estimated crowd levels on a scale of 1-10 for each day of your vacation, and even recommends which parks you should visit. Check for your specific days on the calendar. As for my personal experience, I highly enjoy late February and early March. The weather is cool enough to warrant a hoodie and jeans, but the crowds have not yet hit Spring Break levels. I also enjoy early October for Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party before it turns into a super ghoulish gathering! If you are smart with planning, you can avoid the peak crowds and have a fantastic time on vacation.

I really look forward to helping your find off the beaten path activities for any time of the year. Let’s find something special for your family to experience like the Wild Africa Trek where you'll cross rope bridges over Hippos! You’ve got a friend in me! ~ Lindsey P.
