Ahoy and yo ho, Lani!
Welcome aboard planDisney, a safe port of information in the wild seas of vacation planning! It sounds like you are preparing to set sail on a
Walt Disney World vacation. You’re in for a real adventure!
As you noted in your question, it’s been quite some time since Walt Disney World sold non-expiring park tickets, and they no longer offer this option, so these tickets are definitely vintage. But all is not lost! If your tickets still have days on them, then Walt Disney World will honor their value. So it sounds like you’ve got some valuable treasure on board!
I talked with a Cast Member and they suggested that you
call the Tickets and Hotel Reservations line. They can look up your ticket number, tell you if they still hold any value, and help you convert your old tickets into current passes. You can also
email ticket.usage@disneyworld.com for assistance, and include the following information:
- Photograph or scan of the front and back of each ticket
- Your full name
- Where and when your ticket was purchased
- Purchaser’s name and form of payment
- Phone number where you can be reached during the day
You can also talk to a cast member at Guest Relations outside any of the Walt Disney World theme parks, but be sure to bring the actual tickets themselves.
I hope you found this information helpful and that you have a fun-filled vacation voyage, Lani! Don’t hesitate to send any other questions to your mateys at planDisney!
Magical travels!
Matt
