Hi Sara,
My family simply adores
Character Dining! These restaurants will have the Disney Characters coming to your table. Each location offers a unique experience and they are all fantastic! I recommend selecting your options based on individual family members' preferences for specific Disney Characters. Below I list some of my family's favorites:
1. Chef Mickey's at Disney's Contemporary Resort with Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Pluto, Donald Duck and Goofy.
2. The Crystal Palace at Magic Kingdom Park with Winnie the Pooh, Tigger, Eeyore and Piglet.
3. Tusker House Restaurant at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park with Donald, Daisy, Mickey and Goofy.
4. Hollywood & Vine: Disney Junior Play 'n Dine at Disney's Hollywood Studios with Doc McStuffins, Sofia the First, Jake from the Never Land Pirates and Handy Manny. The Disney Junior pals are present only during breakfast. For lunch and dinner you'll find Minnie, Mickey, Donald, Daisy and Goofy during Minnie's Seasonal Dining.
The Character Dining locations I mentioned above offer meals buffet-style. You will
not have to pay for the 2 year old to eat at any of those Disney restaurants. In fact, children under the age of 3 are more than welcome to eat off an adult's plate.
If meeting Disney Princesses is a top priority, then consider making reservations at Cinderella's Royal Table in Magic Kingdom Park or Akershus Royal Banquet Hall in Epcot. Alternatively, book the
Bon Voyage Adventure Breakfast in Trattoria la Forno at Disney's BoardWalk, or Cinderella's Happily Ever After Dinner at 1900 Park Fare in Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa.
You will have many opportunities to take lots of pictures during Character Dining, so be sure to bring your camera to capture those precious moments!
