Hi there Laurie, and welcome back to planDisney!
The
introduction of the Disney Park Pass System a few years ago definitely took a number of folks and families some time to get used to, and it's great to see that most of us nowadays have been able to keep up with the ever-evolving complexities that come with embracing the technology of this Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow that we live in! Now when it comes to Theme Park Reservations, a lot has definitely
changed over the past week as we dive headfirst into a brand new year at Walt Disney World Resort; you may be happy to hear that
Theme Park Reservations are no longer required for date-based tickets, but for certain types of admission this may still be necessary. However since you'll be arriving tomorrow, I'm happy to lend a little bit of last-minute knowledge to show you the way to what you seek:
- If you happen to be a fellow Walt Disney World Resort Annual Passholder, the Admission Calendar will display what's available for you to reserve depending on the pass you possess. You may also see circled select "Reservation Not Required" or good-to-go days which means exactly what either of these names imply; just be aware that currently, select pass types may be blocked out on certain days and may not take advantage of this on specific dates.
Once you've confirmed that that date and theme park you want to visit are both available to book (and whether you need to do so), you can
Make a Theme Park Reservation as you log in to your Disney Account online or via the My Disney Experience app. I hope that this helps Laurie; don't forget to check out the
EPCOT International Festival of the Arts that just opened a few days ago, as there's a lot of great things to see, taste and explore especially after the initial rush of the first weekend!
Here's to having no reservations about having fun at the Most Magical Place on Earth!
