Hi, is there a way to find out approximately how long attractions run, to be able to plan fast passes or dining reservations with enough time to navigate from event to event?

Hi Erin! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

I absolutely love that you're thinking about using your FastPass+ reservations in a very strategic way. Hopefully you'll have a day where you'll use your third before Noon and are able to secure a fourth, fifth, and even sixth selection!

Every attraction truly does vary, with some that are a three minute start to end time, while others are closer to 10 or 20. And don't forget that you'll still add on at least another five to twenty five minutes to the total experience time from the moment you step into the queue until the time you exit thanks to ride pre-shows, walking the actual building queue, and possibly waiting in a short line depending on the attractions popularity and crowd levels that day.

Thankfully Disney streamlined the process of FastPass+ reservations as the time you choose is actually a one hour window of when you can experience the attraction. You're unable to book another selection within 60 minutes of any current passes. However, you're allowed to enter the queue any time during that one hour, whether it's one second after the window opens or one second before it closes. My family strategy is to stack the times right on top of each other as best as we can, and experience the first attraction at the first possible minute but wait until the last possible minute for the next selection. This usually gives us about a good hour to 90 minutes enjoy a quick service meal as well as another attraction (or two) by utilizing Standby lines.

It's best to schedule FastPass+ reservations around any Table-Service reservations you may have as I'd hate for you to rush through your meal to get to a ride, or miss your dining reservation because there was a higher-than-normal wait time in the queue during your FastPass+ selection.

I hope this helped, Erin, and We'll See You Real Soon!
