Greetings, Daniel, and welcome to planDisney! It sounds like your Disney cruise is booked, and the countdown to embarkation day is on. Yay! Thanks for asking about how to notify Disney Cruise Line of your mobility needs. It's always a good idea to do this in advance, and I'm happy to point you in the right direction!
You'll want to start by signing into your MyDisney account on the
Disney Cruise Line website. Click on the "Already Booked" tab at the top of the page to access your reservation. Scroll down until you see the "Special Services" section, where you'll find a link to the
Special Services Form. That form is where you can let Disney Cruise Line know that you'll be traveling with a motorized or non-motorized mobility aid.
I'm happy to report that most Guest areas on the ships are wheelchair accessible. That includes the theaters, restaurants, and more. There are also
wheelchair-accessible staterooms. Per the website, please note that all mobility aids must be stored inside Guest staterooms or in a designated parking area when not in use.
Now, based on your indicated arrival date, I'm guessing you'll be experiencing the spooky delight of a
Halloween on the High Seas sailing? Get ready to enjoy spirited entertainment, meet-and-greets with Disney Characters all dressed up in costumes, festive décor, and much more. Disney cruises are already so fun, and this layer of theming on top makes it even more memorable, in my opinion.
It will be time to set sail before you know it! Daniel, if you prefer to speak with a Cast Member over the phone about traveling with your mobility scooter, you can
contact Disney Cruise Line by phone. And, of course, if you have any additional questions that we can help with here at planDisney, please reach out. We're always happy to share tips and tricks!
Smooth sailing ahead,
Kriss
