Hi Deborah,
Welcome back to planDisney! I am always delighted to greet another member of the
Annual Passholder family!
Definitely take a few minutes to review the
Annual Pass Blackout dates. Be sure to select the type of Annual Pass that you have to see the corresponding blackout dates. When my family debated the type of Annual Pass to purchase, we considered the blackout dates and decided to purchase the Platinum Passes So, I understand your dilemma. Hopefully, you can plan around those blackout dates!
Remember also that you can only make three stand-alone, rolling
Disney Park Pass system reservations at a time with your Annual Pass if you do not have a reservation with a
Disney Resort or other select resort hotels. So, if you do not have a resort hotel reservation, double-check the number of park pass reservations you are trying to make. If you do have resort hotel reservations, those reservations are linked in your
My Disney Experience account, and you still cannot make additional park pass reservations,
contact a Cast Member. I cancelled a park pass reservation once and the system would not allow me to make another one even though the
theme park availability calendar showed that there was park pass availability. A Cast Member was able to help me make that reservation over the phone.
On our most recent trip, we took advantage of the
dining and
merchandise discounts with our Annual Passes. As a matter of fact, I estimated our food expenses using those dining discounts and was pleased to see that we were just under that estimate at the end of our trip. As you continue to plan, also keep your eye on the
Annual Pass updates since procedures could change.
Deborah, I trust that you will get your park pass reservation issue resolved! We cannot wait to welcome you back to a world of magic, especially as we all look forward to
The World's Most Magical Celebration!
Magic and memories,
Donyell
