Hi Joni! I’m so glad you stopped by planDisney with this question because, oh boy… the tides have turned at Magic Kingdom Park! If you’ve ever wished for a spot to enjoy a drink without sitting down for a full meal, I’ve got a treasure map straight to your answer.
Let me introduce you to
The Beak & Barrel, the brand-new pirate-themed lounge in Adventureland! It’s an absolute gem. I was just there, and it was such a fun experience. The theming is incredible, the energy is lively, and the drinks are delicious. I tried the
Barrels Ablaze cocktail and loved it. The flavor profile was bold but super smooth. The perfect pirate’s toast if you ask me!
This is the first dedicated lounge inside
Magic Kingdom, offering beer, wine, specialty cocktails, and non-alcoholic drinks along with a few tasty bites. Just keep in mind there’s a two-drink maximum per Guest, and you’ll have about 45 minutes to enjoy your stay.
Reservations are strongly encouraged, and drinks must be enjoyed inside the tavern (no pirate adventuring with your grog around the park).
Of course, Magic Kingdom still offers alcohol at table-service favorites like Skipper Canteen, Liberty Tree Tavern, Tony’s Town Square, Be Our Guest, and other favorites. But if you’re looking for something a little more relaxed and swashbuckling,
Beak & Barrel is hands down the top pick.
And if you want to keep the magic going, hopping aboard the Monorail for a cheeky little “Monorail Crawl” is a fan-favorite move. A quick sail—er, ride—to the surrounding resorts lets you hop around incredible lounges and signature drinks before gliding back to Magic Kingdom in time for
the fireworks.
So hoist your glass high, matey! Here’s to pirate puns, perfectly crafted cocktails, and a truly magical night at Walt Disney World Resort.
ChEARs,
Emille
