Hi! How can I find out ahead of time how many people fit on the rides? We're a family of 5 (2 parents, a teen, 6, and 3yr old). Can 3 guests fit? Or will we always have a lone rider in our group? Is there info online? Plan to visit in Jan 2013. Thank you!

Walt Disney World has a variety of attractions that each seat differently. For example, Space Mountain is a single seat attraction while Pirates of the Caribbean has wide rows that can fit five or more depending on size. Many of the family attractions seat at least three to a row. Timeless classics like the Jungle Cruise can can fit the entire family as riders sit around the sides of the boat. If you all cannot fit in the same car you can usually be seated in the row behind your party. There is also the riders swap option for families with children too young for a certain attraction. Parents can still enjoy park rides with the Rider Swap program at the Walt Disney World Resort. Rider Swap is when parents take turns waiting with youngsters too small to ride a certain attraction, then "swap" with another adult Guest from their party to experience the ride without standing in line twice. It really helps move things for the whole family and we have used it quite a bit in the past. I would suggest that when you enter the park you obtain a map and you can always ask any helpful cast member about a certain ride capacity to make sure it suits your family. I hope this assists you and I cannot wait to see you at the parks.
