Hi there, Kim!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I am so excited to hEAR you have a Disney Cruise Line vacation planned! You will have the most FANTAStic time at sea; with so much to do and “sea”, get ready for an adventure you won’t soon forget!
I am so excited that you have booked a
Halloween on the High Seas itinerary, which happens to be one of my favorite times to sail with Captain Mickey! In addition to all the usual Disney Cruise Line onboard activities, character experiences and entertainment, you will also get to enjoy some special holiday-themed activities, including my favorite – Mickey’s Mousequerade Party! So, don’t forget your costumes so you can dress up with your favorite characters who will also be in their Halloween-costumes!
“Onboard Fun” booking will open 75-days prior to your voyage, so if you don’t have that date marked on your calendar, make sure to do so now! Once that day arrives, once you log into your “My Reservations” account, the option to book onboard fun will be there for you! Some of the things you will want to consider booking ahead of time include complimentary tickets to character greetings, complimentary character breakfast tickets, Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique reservations, adult-exclusive dining reservations and Port Adventures. Some other activities that are available to book ahead of time include
beverage tastings and spa services! While you won’t be able to see what is available to book until your window opens, you can explore the different
excursions available at the ports you will be visiting ahead of time!
If things aren’t immediately available when you go to book, check back! And check back often! Guests will often change their plans and if they cancel an activity it immediately becomes available for others to book. Additionally, you can always check once onboard for availability if you weren’t able to secure specific events.
As you continue planning, please come back with any other questions you may have!
Happy Sailing!
Stephanie
