Matthew from OH Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

My finance and I have somewhat set a date to get married. It’s not been easy, however, we have chosen May 2024 going to Aulani for a week honeymoon. I am asking as a DVC member, to send me information of the packages available to us during out week there.

    Aloha, Matthew!

Welcome Home and welcome to planDisney.  Mahalo for bringing your question to us regarding your plans for a honeymoon at the beautiful Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa.  Aulani is one of my absolute favorite Disney Vacation Club Resorts, as when the magic of Disney meets the spirit of Aloha, happiness is where you are.  Our family has visited Aulani a couple of times, and it's so special, we are returning again this summer.

Matthew, here at planDisney, we don't have the ability to send you materials on the honeymoon packages. But, we are your vacation planning 'ohana. 'Ohana means family, and that means nobody gets left behind. So, what I can do is help you navigate to the right place to get the information you are seeking.

For starters, I recommend beginning with the Aulani website, and specifically the honeymoon offerings page, which gives you an overview of the unique offerings available for honeymoons at Aulani.  Next, I recommend having a look at the Disney Vacation Club Member site so you can peruse the Vacation Points requirements if you choose to use them to book your room or Villa at Aulani.  One thing to keep in mind is if Aulani is your Home Resort, you can book beginning 11 months in advance. If it is not your Home Resort, you can book beginning seven months in advance.

If you prefer to pay cash for your room reservation, you can contact Aulani Guest Services who can help you with those arrangements.  Right now, if you are booking your room only for 2024, they can assist you with that. If you want to book a package, which means your room plus one other reservation such as ground transportation, a rental car, or travel insurance, they are currently only booking through 2023.  They will begin taking package reservations for 2024 soon, but that window hasn't opened yet.

Most activities, like island excursions, can be booked once you are onsite or closer to your arrival. But there are a few other activities you might be interested in to add some extra pixie dust to your vacation that you will want to mark your calendar for booking.

For the KA WA'A Luau at Aulani, you can book 180 days in advance.  If you are interested in an immersive spa experience to relax and rejuvenate, this can be booked 90 days in advance. A lovely dinner at 'Ama'Ama for you and your significant other to dine while overlooking a gorgeous Hawaiian sunset is definitely a great addition to your honeymoon. Those reservations, as well as any other onsite dining reservations, can be made 30 days in advance.

I hope this helps you, Matthew.  See the line where the sky meets the sea, it calls me Matthew, and I am sure you will feel the same after a visit to the beautiful island of Oahu and Aulani Resort. If you have any further Disney Vacation Club or Disney vacation planning questions, Matthew, stop back and see me here.  I'll be so happy to help you.

    Happy planning,
    Keri
