Hi Nicole,
How exciting to take your daughters for their first trip to Walt Disney World! I'm sure that they - and you - will be enchanted will all of the magic they find there.
We took our young daughter to Walt Disney World many times during her baby, toddler, and preschool years. One thing is for certain - there is a lot of walking to do at Walt Disney World! Even if your girls are totally reliable and have been out of strollers for years at home, they may still need them at Walt Disney World. Our daughter, who never wanted to be in a stroller at home in our daily lives, used a stroller at Walt Disney World through kindergarten. At around age five we began to phase out the stroller at Walt Disney World. Around age six she became pretty reliable for a full day's walking at Walt Disney World.
I would suggest that you have at least a single stroller. That way, your younger daughter can ride in it, and if your older daughter gets tired, she can take a turn in the stroller. You know your children best - if your daughters typically don't like walking, save yourself the potential tears and bring two single strollers or a double stroller. You can
rent strollers at Walt Disney World. You might consider renting a stroller the first day to see how the day goes, and if you find you don't need it later, simply don't rent it for the rest of your stay. You can rent single or double strollers at Walt Disney World.
I hope that this information helps, Nicole! Have a wonderful time surprising your girls for their first trip to Walt Disney World! Please do not hesitate to ask if you have any further questions.
