    Finally got reservation for chefmickeys at 9:20 during ex hrs which i'm not crazy about. What time should we leave mk ? And I am hoping to be back in the park before 11:00 .Is this possible and would we be able to get alot in at this time of the night?

    Oh!  You and your family are simply going to LOVE Chef Mickey's!  This is such a wonderful character dining experience.  There is nothing better than partying with Mickey & Friends!

    First, I would start heading out of the Magic Kingdom no later than 9:00 p.m.  You can walk to Disney's Contemporary Resort or take the the Monorail.  With character dining, you will probably need to set aside at least an hour to an hour and a half.  This allows the characters enough time to make their way to your table while you dine.  Honestly, I do not know if you will have much time once you head on back to the Magic Kingdom if closing is at 11:00 p.m.
