We finally picked the resort we'd like for our Jan visit. AOA here we come! Do you recommend reserving the room and park tickets now? If free dining opens later, we can still modify/change the resort? Also, any good pics of Lion King suites?

    Hi Vicki,

I've visited Disney's Art of Animation Resort and it is adorable!  You're going to love it.  Because this is Disney's newest resort, I highly recommend that you book your room and theme park tickets now.  If a free dining promotion becomes available after you book your stay, you are welcome to call and revise your reservation.  I'll be honest with you, though.  I'm not hopeful that a free dining promotion linked to this resort will be offered in the near future simply because it is so new and Disney is having no trouble filling the rooms at this location.  But I'll keep my fingers crossed that I am wrong.  I'd love to hear that you scored a free dining promotion for your upcoming trip.

Photos of the Lion King suites are available on the Disney Parks Blog but there will be plenty more in just a few days.  When this section of Disney's Art of Animation Resort opens, you can be sure there will be photos all over the internet.  Be sure to check out the independent fan site, allears.net, on August 10th when the Lion King Suites become available to the public.  I bet they'll be adding some excellent shots to their photo gallery.

Wishing you a truly magical vacation this January!
