Hi Mom's, So I have finally booked my families trip to Disney World !!! :) I was just wondering if we are allowed to bring in "lunch foods" of our own into the park?

    Hi Tawnya,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I'm so excited that your family is planning to visit Walt Disney World Resort!

While it comes as a surprise to many people, Guests are permitted to bring snacks and lunch foods into the Disney theme parks. You are welcome to bring beverages, too, as long as they are not alcoholic and not in glass containers. Bring your food in a small collapsible carrier, such as a backpack, and be prepared for security to check your bag as you enter the theme parks.

Bringing your own food or drinks is a fabulous way to save some money during your Walt Disney World Resort vacation. It's also a great idea if you have little ones in your travel party that are accustomed to specific treats that may not be available for purchase in the theme parks.

Please let us know if you need any additional cost-cutting suggestions as you plan your upcoming trip. My friends and I here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel would love to help!

    Wishing you many magical memories,
    Jill
