Hello I finally able to snag a reservation for 5 at Beaches and Cream, but it at 10:45 pm, so all Disney transportation will done. Could we drive our own car there and park in the Beach Club parking lot. Thank you

    Welcome to planDisney, Karen!

Wow, your trip to the Most Magical Place on Earth is just a few days away! Lucky you! I see that you're finalizing some last-minute details which makes my planner heart very happy. The more you have prepared before you arrive, the easier it is to let loose and soak in the magic during your vacation!

You've hit the jackpot! A reservation at Beaches and Cream Soda Shop is very hard to come by. Now, you'll be part of that world! This restaurant has gadgets and gizmos a-plenty, but of all the menu items under the sea, the Kitchen Sink Sundae is by far the most famous! I'm sure you've heard the stories, seen the videos, dreamt of devouring this delicious creation from afar.. and now it's your turn to give it a go! Are you up for the challenge? Though many poor unfortunate souls have tried to take on this sundae on their own, I'd recommend splitting it with the rest of your party. It serves four, after all!

Karen, I'm glad to deliver more good news. The answer to your question is yes! You can drive your own vehicle over to Disney's Beach Club Resort for your meal. When you arrive, the guard at the gate will ask to see your dining reservation. You can pull it up through the My Disney Experience Mobile App or have a screenshot of your reservation (including the time) ready to show. You'll then be free to embark on your dining adventure on your own two.. what do you call them? Feet!

After dining at Beaches & Cream Soda Shop, be sure to take a quick peek at the famous Stormalong Bay Pool. Spread across three full acres and two different resorts, this is a Guest-favorite pool in all of Walt Disney World. With a lazy river, dedicated children's area, sand bottom and natural entry, this pool really makes you have that salty air feeling. You never know, maybe on your next trip to Walt Disney World, this will be the place for you to stay!

Karen, I hope this vacation is your most magical one yet! As Sebastian would say, "We got no troubles. Life is the bubbles!"

    Until next time,

    Ashley
