Hello! I was finally able to get a character dining reservation at the Plaza Inn! However, there was only one time left, so I'm trying my best to plan around it. Is there a small window of time we can arrive before OR after our 9A reservation?

    Hey Diana!

    Welcome to planDisney!

I see you’ve got a trip right around the corner! I couldn’t think of a better way to start my day than with Minnie Mouse and the rest of her friends! You’re going to love Minnie & Friends- Breakfast in the Park. It is my favorite Character Breakfast and the one I always recommend! They have all of your favorites like eggs, bacon, Mickey waffles, and fresh fruit but the star of the show for me is the made-to-order omelets! This breakfast is all you care to enjoy so bring your appetite!

As you mentioned, this is one of the harder-to-get dining reservations, and for good reason! Typically the grace period for dining is 15 minutes after your scheduled time. After that, they may not be able to seat you. If you end up being late that morning I would still check in with a Cast Member as they can sometimes still accommodate you but it’s not guaranteed. There is no set time for how early they can seat you but I have shown up 30 min early to some restaurants and they have been able to take me right away sometimes. It just depends on how busy the restaurant is that day so it’s hard to predict in advance. It may be easier in the morning since they’re just getting started but I would kindly ask a Cast Member if they can accommodate you early when you get there. There are many unknown factors that can go in your favor or against your favor on the day of your reservation. The best thing to do is try to show up as close to your time as possible and have a flexible mindset.

Well Diana, I hope you have a great breakfast and it’s the Best Meal Ever!

Remember, always believe in the Magic!
