Hi. We will be finalizing our sons adoption in September and thought a trip to WDW would be a wonderful surprise for him, he's 5. Can you please tell me when is the best time to go between Nov and Dec. We are looking for the least crowed time thanks

    Hello Kim,

I think a surprise visit to Walt Disney World sounds like a wonderful way to celebrate such a momentous occasion. Congratulations!  November and December are great months to visit.  You can find lighter crowds, perfect weather and beautiful holiday decorations.  For the most part, traveling between the week after Thanksgiving and the week before Christmas are considered "lower crowd" times.  We have also had luck visiting a week or two before Thanksgiving.  I like to use the crowd calendar at www.undercovertourist.com as a guide in planning our vacations.  They break down which days have historically been the least crowded, as well as which parks may be better to visit on each day.

Have a wonderful time planning such a fun celebration.  Congratulations again from our Disney Parks Moms Panel family to yours.  Please let us know if there is anything else we may assist you with.

    Magical Wishes,

    Lauren

Meet the Panelist: Lauren, Colorado

Hi-ya, Pals! I'm Lauren, a wife and mother of three who's enjoyed many special occasions at Walt Disney World Resort with my family and friends. From graduations to birthdays, and even our Fairy Tale Honeymoon we’ve loved celebrating at the most Magical Place on Earth. I now have pre-teens who check wait times in the My Disney Experience App just for fun, so I look for any excuse to return "home" often and would love to help you plan a little extra Pixie Dust for your next magical adventure.
