Hi! For the final day of my trip, someone suggested that we have a character dining experience for breakfast and drive home right after. My question is - would we have to purchase a full day ticket to the parks in order to dine at Cinderella's? Thanks!

    Hi Liz!

I love that tip - having a Character Breakfast as a final farewell.  I will use that with my own family on our next vacation.  Being able to give our favorite friends a proper "See Ya Real Soon" will make leaving the Happiest Place on Earth a little bit easier.

If you plan on having a Character Meal inside of the theme parks then yes, you will need park tickets.  Sometimes adding one day is quite reasonable depending upon your length of stay.  If you have a vacation package, I suggest calling and asking what the price difference would be to add one day onto your current ticket length.  If you have bought your tickets elsewhere, then the cost to upgrade at the Disney Parks will be the difference between the current posted price of your ticket and the ones with one more day.

Another consideration for you is having a Character Breakfast at a location outside of the theme parks.  Go to this link for Disney Character Dining and select the filter "Character Dining".  You can view all of the locations for Character Dining and take note of the ones which are located in resort hotels. Currently they are:

    • 1900 Park Fare
    • 'Ohana
    • Garden Grove
    • Cape May Café
    • Chef Mickey's

Good luck with planning the rest of your MAGICAL vacation.  If you have any further questions, please come back and visit us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel.  We love to help!

    Blessings,
