Hello, Allison! Thanks for cruising to planDisney with your question. Welcome!
One of the things that I love about planning a Disney Cruise is that so much of the cost of the vacation is
included with the cruise fare. Your stateroom, dining, onboard activities, live entertainment, and fun for the kids... It's all included! There are some extra experiences you may wish to purchase while onboard, and if you do so, they will be added to your onboard account.
During the online check-in process, you will be asked to designate a payment method for your onboard account. On the final day of your sailing, your onboard account will be settled with your chosen payment method. If you'd like to use a Disney Gift Card to pay for a portion of your onboard account, you can do so by stopping by the Guest Services Desk to apply it to your account.
The amount of your final cruise bill will vary depending on any purchases you make onboard. If you book
Port Adventures, visit the
Senses Spa & Salon, reserve
premium dining, do some souvenir shopping, or purchase specialty coffees or drinks onboard, the charges will be added to your account. Additionally, if you did not
pre-pay gratuities for your dining crew and stateroom host, you will see the suggested gratuities added to your onboard account.
You can keep track of the purchases you've made onboard within the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app once your cruise is underway. One thing to note, each adult in your party can pay with a different payment method. I went on a cruise with some friends, and while we shared a stateroom, we each had our own onboard accounts.
If you have additional questions, Allison, I hope you'll return to planDisney to ask. My pals and I are here and happy to help you!
Have a magical day,
Adrianna
