Hiya, Diane!
Yup! I’ve been there too. No worries. This is a common issue that is easily managed.
You can certainly call the
Tickets phone line to ask for the names to be adjusted. But I’d like to save you from having to worry about waiting on hold to address what is actually a somewhat minor issue. You see, the names on your
theme park tickets are mostly there for your convenience. If you don’t mind a little extra effort to keep track of ticket numbers for members of your party, you don’t need to worry about the mismatch of names. And keeping track of who is using which ticket is only an issue when you need to match photos of ticket users at park re-entry and if you split up your party to enjoy separate attractions with
Lightning Lane.
To redeem your
Disney eTickets you will scan the ticket code, either on your mobile device or a printout. At that time, the eTicket will be voided and you will be issued a standard theme park ticket to use for the remainder of your visit. Although the ticket numbers will automatically update in the
Disneyland mobile app, the Guest names will remain the same. But you will also be issued printed ticket cards with your new ticket numbers. The numbers on the ticket cards will match the numbers in the app.
Tony’s Tip: To help you keep track of who is using which ticket, I recommend writing the name of each Guest on the printed ticket as it is issued at the park entrance. When using a Lightning Lane or re-entering a theme park, either the code in the mobile app or the printed ticket may be scanned!
Diane, I hope you have a magic time at The Happiest Place on Earth. We’d love to hEAR from you again at planDisney if you have any more questions.
