Ahoy, Tanya!
You’re going to have the best adventure ever aboard Disney Cruise Line’s newest ship, the beautiful
Disney Wish. It looks like you’re taking some notes from Aladdin and trying to be “one jump ahead” with your travel documentation. Good idea! Having the proper documentation is important to ensure your transition from land to sea goes smoothly. Let’s look together to make sure your documents are shipshape for your voyage.
It appears that Philippine citizens are required to obtain a visa to visit the Bahamas. Each Disney Cruise Line Guest is responsible for identifying and obtaining the necessary visas before the cruise begins. You can find this information under
Travel Documentation on the Disney Cruise Line website. U.S. citizens, on the other hand, do not require a visa. I also recommend you check with the appropriate embassy or consulate of the countries you will be visiting for the specific travel documentation requirements.
On embarkation day, Cast Members will check your citizenship documentation and scan your Port Arrival Form. All that is left is waiting for your boarding group number to be called! Yippie! Since it sounds like you’re traveling with family, one last suggestion I have is to download the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app. When you are on board and connected to the ship’s Wi-Fi, you can use the app to communicate with your family, review your itinerary, quickly access dining menus, and view the entertainment schedules for every day of your sailing.
I’m so excited for you to experience everything a Disney Cruise Line vacation has to offer. From the incredible dining rooms, beautiful Bahamian ports of call, and family-friendly entertainment, there’s
magic for Guests of all ages onboard. I have no doubt that you’ll come home with memories to last a lifetime. Sail back to planDisney if you have any additional questions. We can’t wait to help!
SEAS the adventure!
