Welcome to planDisney and thanks for sailing over with your Disney Cruise Line Castaway Club question.As you know, Disney Cruise Line recognizes repeat guests with membership in the Castaway Club, which offers exclusive benefits based on the number of completed sailings. There are four different tiers of membership:
Your Castaway Club membership level is calculated based on the number of sailings that you have already completed and your level of benefits will increase as you reach each tier. Disney Cruise Line also requires that Castaway Club Members book or sail on at least one eligible cruise within 5 years of their last voyage in order to remain active in the program.It sounds like you are already a Silver Member, but will reach Gold Member status after you complete your fifth sailing in September. Although you will be able to use some of the Gold Member benefits on your next sailing a few days later, you will not be able to use all of them because of the timing of your fifth and sixth cruises. The issue is that your Gold Member benefits will not go into effect until after you have actually completed your fifth cruise’s sailing regardless of whether you already have your sixth cruise booked. That means that you will not officially become a Gold Member until a couple of days before your sixth cruise embarks, so you will only be able to use your Silver Member benefits for earlier access to the advance booking window and Online Check-In process for both of your scheduled sailings. However, your Gold Member status will be in effect by your second embarkation day and you will receive both the Silver and Gold Welcome Back Aboard Gifts in your stateroom on the second sailing.
