Hello and welcome to planDisney, Paola. Thanks for bringing this wonderful question to us. Hooray! Your visit to the Disneyland Resort is practically here. Soon you will be walking down Main Street, U.S.A. and enjoying all of the fall decorations in the park. I'm delighted to help make sure you're ready for your visit.
Oh boy! What wonderful friends you have to gift you with a visit to the Happiest Place on Earth. It's super easy to link the tickets to your Disney account so let's walk through it together. At the Disneyland site, you will visit "Link Tickets" which can be found under the heading "My Disneyland" near the top right corner. Next, you will manually enter each ticket's ID number to link them to your account. You can also do this in the
Disneyland app by tapping the "☰" top open the menu and then tapping the "Tickets and Passes" tile. Next, tap the "+" in the top right corner followed by "Link Tickets & Passes." Here you can manually enter the ticket ID number or you can use the "Camera" feature to quickly scan the ticket barcode.
If your friends purchase the theme park tickets at the Disneyland site, they will be prompted to select the visit date. This also creates a
theme park reservation for these tickets. As long as your friend selects the date that you would like to visit, a theme park reservation will be created and you're good to go. If you want to change the date of your visit, this can easily be done at the Disneyland site. You will visit "My Plans" under the heading "My Disneyland" and then "Manage Reservation" for the day that you would like to change. Click on "Modify Reservation" to make a change to the date of your visit or to make a change to the park (or starting park) that you will visit. You can also view any confirmed theme park reservations here.
Halloween Time has descended upon the resort and there is plenty of spooktacular fun to be had. Make sure to head over to New Orleans Square to see how Jack Skellington and friends have wrecked the halls at
Haunted Mansion Holiday. In the ballroom scene, you will be delighted with a spooky gingerbread creation. If you pay extra close attention, you may even spot a hidden Mickey. And I say there's no better way to start and end your day than with a wave (or wink) to the giant Mickey pumpkin.
Paola, I hope I was able to share the information you were looking for as you get ready for your spooktacular visit. If there's anything else you might be curious about, please come back to ask us. Here's wishing you a ghoulishly good time.
Michelle
