My so is going on a field trip to Disney land but we don’t have the ticket or ticket ID number the school does could I still get my son a Disney gene pass?

Greetings and welcome to planDisney, Jayden. How exciting to hear that your son will be visiting the Disneyland Resort on a field trip. It looks like this magical trip is just around the corner and I'm delighted to help you prepare.

Summoning Genie and his phenomenal cosmic powers is always a good idea in my book. Disney Genie+ Service can be purchased in two different ways. First, you can add Genie+ as an add-on at the time of purchasing your theme park ticket. If you already have your theme park ticket, Disney Genie+ can be added once your ticket has been scanned and you've entered the theme park.

The purchase can be made in the Disneyland app and the theme park ticket must be linked to the app. There will be a banner at the top of the home screen to purchase Disney Genie+ Service for the day. When it comes to payment, I recommend giving your son a Disney Gift Card that can be used to complete this purchase as well as for any snacks and souvenirs for the day. One last thing, I'm not sure exactly what kind of ticket your son has and if there are any restrictions for adding the Genie+ Service, however, he can always find a friendly Cast Member at the park for assistance. In fact, there's a Guest Relations stand located at the end of Main Street, U.S.A. near Plaza Inn.

Jayden, I hope this is helpful and helps you feel prepared for your son's upcoming magical visit. Most of all, I hope everything works out and he has the best day ever at the Happiest Place on Earth!
