My fiancee and I are wanting to attend the Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue during our honeymoon in October. What's the best way to get to Fort Wilderness? We're staying at Caribbean Beach, if that's helpful. Thanks!

Howdy, Andrew, and welcome to planDisney! First of all, congrats on your upcoming magical marriage! My husband and I also celebrated our honeymoon at the Walt Disney World Resort and enjoyed our first experience at the Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue during that trip, and I'm excited to tell you it has become a must-do for us every trip since!

As you mentioned, the Hoop-Dee-Doo takes place at Pioneer Hall at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort, so transportation to this dinner show is an adventure of its own! You have a few options to get there, so I'll go over them with you!
    • If you have a personal vehicle with you, you are welcome to drive to the campground and park in the Outpost area. Just show the Cast Member at the Guard Shack your dining reservation in your My Disney Experience mobile app for entry. From here, you will take an internal bus to the Settlement where the Hoop-Dee-Doo takes place.
    • Disney Minnie Van Service powered by Lyft - this is probably the fastest and easiest way to get to the show, as the Minnie Van can deliver you directly to the Settlement area of Fort Wilderness, thereby bypassing the internal bus system at the resort. You can have the rideshare service pick you up directly from your Disney Resort hotel and before you know it, you'll be pulling up to the fun alongside the Pioneer Players!
    • Disney Bus Service - from Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort, you can also catch a Disney bus to Magic Kingdom Park and then transfer to Fort Wilderness Campground by bus or by water taxi. While this is a little longer of a trek, if your pioneer adventure spirit is strong, it's enjoyable as well!
Andrew, most importantly, be sure to allow for enough time to arrive at least 30 minutes ahead of your dining reservation time so you can check in and receive your seating assignments. Be sure to also let them know on your reservation that you are celebrating your honeymoon - they love to celebrate at Pioneer Hall!

No matter how you arrive, you're in for a root-tootin' good time at my favorite dinner show! Get ready for a night of laughter, delicious food, unlimited sangria (or draft beer, if you prefer!) for Guests age 21 and older, and magical memories! Don't forget to save room for dessert, too!

    Let's Hoop-Dee-Doo This,
    Alison
