Hi! My fiancee and I are spending our Honeymoon at WDW the week of November 6th. I am just confused because I have heard that the Xmas decorations go up November 1st but I have also heard they start in mid Nov. When do they put the decorations up?

    Hi Nicole!

How exciting to spend your honeymoon at Walt Disney World. I can't think of a better place to celebrate your life together than the Happiest Place on Earth!

As soon as Halloween ends, the jack-o-lanterns come down and the holiday wreaths go up. It takes a few days to complete the transition from "scary" to "merry" but the Park is definitely decked out and ready to go by the first night of Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, which is November 7th this year. Since you arrive on the 6th and plan to spend a week, I think you will definitely be able to enjoy the Parks in all their holiday finery. I am so excited for you!

Please let us know if there's anything else we can do to help you with your honeymoon planning.

Congratulations and Merry Christmas (both a little early!) to you and your fiance. Here's wishing you a magical Walt Disney World visit!
