    My Fiancee and I are planning our honeymoon at WDW for next January. I'm trying to get prepared to make our ADRs next month and wanted to see if you had a suggestion. We want to go to ONE of the restaurants at AKL. Which do you suggest?

    Hi Rachel,

    Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! How wonderful to begin your new life together at the Walt Disney World Resort. My husband and I honeymooned there many years ago and we cherish those memories!

    At Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge, I recommend Jiko - The Cooking Place for a signature dining experience. If you are looking for another delicious dining experience that might be more budget friendly, I recommend Sanaa. Also, consider the Dine with an Animal Specialist experience, which includes lunch at Sanaa.

    If you are looking for a suggestion for Disney's Animal Kingdom theme park, I recommend Rainforest Cafe® at Disney's Animal Kingdom. The food is yummy and it sounds as if you are dining in the midst of a tropical rain forest. This restaurant is located at the front of the park, so it is easy to access when you just arrive or as you leave. 

    We also love to dine at Tusker House Restaurant. The buffet includes a nice variety of food that appeals to everyone in our family. We love to see the characters dressed up in their safari best. Or, if you want to try something a little more romantic, I suggest Tiffins.

    Finally, consider doing the Rivers of Light Dining Package if it is available. If you are able to do the dining package, your meal will occur as normal, but before you leave the restaurant, they will give you vouchers for the show's reserved seating area. We did the dining package on our last visit and the show was beautiful!
