My fiancee and I are planning a honeymoon in DW and Florida. We are thinking 6 nights with 5 day passes (4 theme parks plus a waterpark), is one day per park a good amount of time for a couple with no kids? Hotel and date night restaurants suggestions?

    Hello John,

Congratulations on your upcoming wedding! What an exciting moment for you.  It is wonderful that you will be continuing the celebration at the most magical place on earth.  I also honeymooned at Walt Disney World and had such an amazing time.

Let's start with accommodations.  I love Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa.  The Victorian elegance and its proximity to the Magic Kingdom are truly magical.  However, if you are looking for a more secluded, romantic resort, I recommend Disney's Port Orleans-French Quarter.  They even have horse-drawn carriage rides!

One day per park should be great for the two of you.  You should have plenty of time to see all of your favorite attractions, without feeling rushed or overwhelmed, ensuring you'll be able to soak in all of the most magical moments.

One of our favorite dates on our honeymoon was sitting on the water front, enjoying dinner at Narcoossee's which offers perfect views of the Magic Kingdom fireworks and the Electrical Water Pageant.  It was an enchanting ending to a wonderful day.

In our planning we found creating a Disney Honeymoon Registry was a great way to let all our friends and family know about our wish list.

I hope your honeymoon vacation is all that your heart desires.  If you need any other help making your dreams come true, please come back and ask me a question.

    Magical Wishes,
    Lauren
