Hi! My fiancee and I would love to celebrate our wedding at Walt Disney World but our religious beliefs require us to be married in a church. Are there options for us to have just a celebratory lunch for 60 guests at a Walt Disney Resort?

    Hi Ally!

Absolutely!  Guests celebrate all the time at Walt Disney World regardless of whether the ceremony is held at Walt Disney World.  Another option is to have an official ceremony in a church and then to "reenact" it at Walt Disney World.  You can rent out a ballroom at one of the resorts or a private room at a restaurant.  In fact, depending on your budget, you can even rent out an "attraction".  For example, I was privilege to attend a vow renewal recently where the reception afterward was held inside The Great Movie Ride at Disney's Hollywood Studios.  There was food, live music, and dancing inside the attraction. It was an amazing event.  You can work directly with a Disney Cast Member at Disney Fairy Tale Weddings and Honeymoons

You might want to work with an Authorized Disney Vacation Planner to set up your travel and event.  He or she is a travel agent that specializes in trips to Walt Disney World, Disneyland, onboard the Disney Cruise Line, and with Adventures by Disney.  The services are typically provided at no cost to guests and he or she will usually be up to date on all of the discounts available, how to organize a large event at Walt Disney World, etc.

I hope this helps!  Please write back with more questions!
