My fiancee and I are honeymooning in WDW in Feb. Have Quick Service DDP, but he wants to eat at House of Blues and I want to go to Chef Mickeys. We are also considering some other sit down meals for fireworks. Is it worth it to get the reg. Dining Plan?

Hi, Karen!    Congratulations to the Newlyweds!     If you plan to upgrade to the the Disney Dining Plan,  you will each get one Table Service Credit for each night of your stay.   So if you plan to book one sit down meal each day, then it is worth the upgrade.   In addition, you also get one Quick Service meal and one Snack Option.

Remember that if you go with the Disney Dining Plan to make your Advance Dining Reservations when you hit your 90 day booking window.   Restaurants do fill up quickly (especially Chef Mickey's.)  One other note:   House of Blues is NOT included in the plan, so dining here would be an additional out-of-pocket cost.

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
