Hi, Jennifer!
If you and your fiance are fans of Walt Disney World (WDW), you're going to love the combination of the legendary Disney service and entertainment together with the rest and relaxation of a voyage at sea aboard Disney Cruise Line (DCL). As far as what would be "best" for you (and your limited budget), I suggest looking into a "Surf & Turf" Disney vacation -- a few days at the parks followed by a few days at sea (or vice versa).
Call and receive quotes for a
Pre- or Post-Cruise Hotel Package which can include park tickets, hotel accommodations and even a dining plan, and then, research third-party providers such as travel agents who deal exclusively with Disney vacations or AAA. The best way to get a good deal on any Disney vacation is to take your time and do your research. Depending on when you want to honeymoon, you can usually get the best cruise fare the further out you book.
I personally think that you can't go wrong if you had to choose between WDW and DCL. Yet, if you've never sailed with Disney before -- your honeymoon is the perfect time to start. Plus, you can book your one-year anniversary cruise while you're on board and save even more off your next Disney cruise.
I hope this helps you plan, and best wishes on your upcoming nuptials. My husband and I believe that constant forgiveness (of each other and ourselves) seems to have worked for our marriage's longevity. May you be blessed as you plan your wedding, honeymoon and lives together!
Bon voyage,
Andi
