My fiance and I are planning our honeymoon 3/1/10-3/8/10, and we're waffling between PO Riverside and POFQ. Any pluses/minuses between either for our romantic getaway?

Congratulations on your upcoming wedding and honeymoon!  Walt Disney World is a great place to celebrate such a great occasion!

I don't think you can go wrong with either sections of Port Orleans.  I would request the French Quarter first but if that is not available do not hesitate to get the Riverside rooms.  You can see some great pictures of this resort by going to  This might help you decide by seeing photos of the various sections of the resort.

The French Quarter section is smaller with only about 100 rooms but it also has less facilities.  It boasts one bus stop which many feel is an advantage over the Riverside four stops.  Riverside being larger has a few more amenities close at hand but it will also have a feeling of being a little more busy.
