My fiance and I are planning our honeymoon for the last week of Sept. Our flight arrives at MCO at 8:30am and we plan on hitting MK and eating dinner at HoopDeeDoo that first day. What time do you suggest we eat dinner; 6:15 or 8:30? Thanks!

Hi Olivia! Let me be one of the 1st to congratulate you on your wedding! I'm so happy for you and I know your honeymoon will be filled with magical memories!

Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue is so fun!!!! It's a wonderful way to start your magical Walt Disney World Resort vacation!

My immediate suggestion is for you to select the earlier hootenanny. My answer is solely based on the time you are arriving in Orlando International Airport. With an 8:30 arrival time, I'm guessing you are departing around 6:00 am. That will make for a very long (but totally magical) day. The earlier seating will enable you to get back to your Resort hotel a little earlier than the later seating. My family typically travels on the early morning flight. We have had a few first days where we pushed ourselves until late in the evening on our 1st day and it took us a couple days to recover. Each and every day was still magical but I think we would have enjoyed it even more if we were better rested. Could that answer have been anymore mom-like and logical? Now - let's add some fun and magic!

Do you want to add some extra magic to your 1st day at Walt Disney World Resort? Before or after you enjoy Hoop-Dee-Dee Musical Revue, surprise your new groom with a Horse Drawn Carriage Ride at Fort Wilderness. The ride is 25 minutes long and will take you throughout the Resort hotel area. Reservations are highly recommended and can be made 180 days in advance. For reservations or information, call (407) 939-7529.

I'm so excited for you Olivia! Thanks so much for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Please let us know if you need any other tips or advice as you plan your magical Walt Disney World Resort honeymoon!
