Hi. My fiance and I are planning our Honeymoon and we are celebrating at Disney! Which resort would be appropriate for us? Specifically, luxury category. Plan to spend 6 nights so a comfortable bed is a must! Transportation and romance are musts, too! Ty!

    Hi Elizabeth!

In my opinion, the Grand Floridian is the most romantic resort at Walt Disney World.  It has an elegance that no other Disney resort can touch.  This is actually where we spent our wedding night after our magical Disney wedding!

Transportation is really easy to get to the Magic Kingdom, just hop on a monorail!  You can also take a romantic ferry boat ride over to the Magic Kingdom as well.  You can take a Disney bus for all other destinations.

For a really comfortable stay, look into booking a club level room which gives you access to snacks and drinks at certain times throughout the day.  It's nice to come back to your resort and have a little something to eat waiting for you in the lounge!  Our club level room was in a wonderful location close to the lobby and transportation with a gorgeous view of the grounds.  Just taking a stroll around the gardens is perfect for a honeymoon!

To make your honeymoon extra special, check out some of the romance packages from Disney Floral.

Congratulations and have a magical day!
