Mom and Daughter at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort Room

    My fiance and I are planning our honeymoon for August 2013. While we would love to stay at the Grand Floridian for the full 10 days of our stay, it is just a bit expensive. What moderate resort resort would anyone recommend for honeymooners?

    Hi Kathel!

    I think the most romantic of the moderate resorts is Port Orleans.  Riverside offers Royal Rooms that are fit for a Princess...a newlywed Princess!  My favorite feature of these rooms are the fireworks on the headboard.  These are significantly less expensive than staying at the Grand Floridian.  Since you are staying for 10 days, you could split your stays.  I think a great trip would be to spend the first half or so at Port Orleans and then end your honeymoon with a few days at the Grand Floridian!
