My fiance and I are planning on Disney for our honeymoon/first anniversary. We have a 7 yo son that is coming too We were wondering what we could do to have a special dinner together with out him, but let him still have fun. Any ideas?

    Hello Kaitlin,

First and foremost, congratulations on your upcoming honeymoon/anniversary! Walt Disney World is a fantastic place to celebrate such a momentous occasion. My husband and I honeymooned there 12 years ago and it was one of the best vacations we've had as a couple.

It will also be special to celebrate with your son, as well. However, I can understand wanting a little extra time to have a magical dinner for two. I highly recommend taking him to one of the Children's Activity Centers. There are multiple locations to choose from so you can take advantage of the one that suits your plans most conveniently. Here he can watch Disney movies, do arts and crafts, play games, and even have dinner (which is included in the cost). Security is paramount and measures are taken to insure that. Keep in mind that hours of operation do vary by location.

My older kids recently hung out at the Sandcastle Club, the one at Disney's Beach Club, and absolutely loved it. In fact, they didn't want to leave when my husband and I came back from our night out. So, rest assured that he could have a blast, while you and your husband enjoy an evening together, just the two of you.
