Hello. My fiancée and I are planning on bring our parents to Disney world this year in September. I would like to know if there is a payment plan or option available for buying 4 park passes for all 5 of us including the Genie+ option

Hey there, Travis! Welcome to planDisney! It is exciting to hear that you are planning to bring your parents to Walt Disney World soon! I have planned multi-generational trips before, and it is truly magical watching faces, young and old, light up while walking down Main Street U.S.A.

Travis, there is no payment plan option for Walt Disney World Theme Park tickets purchased individually. Individual ticket purchases must be paid in full at the time of purchase.

However, if you decide to purchase your Theme Park tickets in conjunction with a Disney Resorts Collection hotel stay, you have the opportunity to plan your payments. When you book a Walt Disney World Vacation Package (Disney Hotel stay and Disney park tickets), you are only required to pay a deposit of $200 at the time of booking. The remaining balance is then due 30 days before your arrival date. You get all the time in between to make payments as you wish!

Here are two tips I like to keep in mind when planning multi-generational trips.

    Take the scenic route
Many times, we can find ourselves moving throughout the parks at blazing speed constantly looking to the next available attraction. I’m not sure about your parents, but this pace was a bit much for my multi-generational trips. Instead of running straight to Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run, we casually strolled through the Planet Batuu in Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge. We ate, shopped, and immersed ourselves in the local culture.

    Build rest into your vacation
Planning a rest day into your Disney vacation will ensure that everyone in your party experiences the full magic of the resort. Whether it’s lounging by the resort hotel pool, shopping in Disney Springs, or napping (my personal favorite), allowing intentional time for everyone to recharge will help make your vacation memorable. And if your parents decide to turn in early one night or want to relax poolside at the resort, take advantage and plan a late dinner in Disney Springs for you and the fiancée. You’re welcome for the Disney date night pro tip!

Whichever option you choose, you and your family will make lifelong memories together this September while partying at The World’s Most Magical Celebration
