My fiance and I are looking at getting married June 2026, out of FL. How can I go about booking and blocking rooms. I have 4 children, so 2 rooms attached also. I also would like additional info regarding getting married on the ship/one of the island.

    Ahoy, Amber!

Welcome aboard planDisney—and a huge congratulations to you and your fiancé! Planning a Disney Cruise Line wedding is a tale as old as time kind of adventure, and I can't think of a more magical way to start your "happily ever after" than by saying “I do” with ocean breezes, tropical backdrops, and a little help from your favorite Mouse!

Let’s set sail with your first step: I recommend heading over to Disney’s Fairy Tale Weddings & Honeymoons and filling out the Contact Us form. A Disney Weddings specialist will reach out to help you chart your course. You’ll also be able to browse wedding options, including onboard ceremonies (starting at $4,000) and those breathtaking Castaway Cay weddings (starting at $6,000). I’ve seen firsthand how truly stunning these events can be—Disney doesn’t just sprinkle pixie dust, they pour it on!

Now, the next step is all about locking in your cruise. While you can book your staterooms through the Disney Cruise Line website once your desired itinerary is available, I highly recommend calling Disney Cruise Line directly. The Cast Members can help ensure that wedding availability aligns with your chosen sailing and verify details for your group’s accommodations. This is especially helpful since you're traveling with four children and hoping to book two connecting rooms—you want to make sure everything is just right before you pop the bubbly!

If you have a larger group joining your celebration, you can also ask about creating a group reservation, which can help coordinate room assignments and onboard experiences for your guests. This is a great way to keep your whole party on the same page—and the same deck!

A few more pearls of wisdom:
    • Book early. Dates for ceremonies and popular stateroom types (like connecting rooms or concierge-level rooms) go faster than Remy chasing cheese.
    • Ceremony locations vary by ship and itinerary, so if you're dreaming of Castaway Cay, make sure your sailing includes a stop there.
    • Disney's team handles everything from floral to cake to entertainment (offerings subject to change). You just show up and glow!

I hope this helps as you plan your fairytale afloat! There’s nothing quite like beginning your next chapter with the ocean as your aisle and the horn of a Disney ship playing “When You Wish Upon a Star.” Wishing you smooth seas, magical memories, and love that runs deeper than Atlantica.

Sea ya real soon with a June full of sun, sea, and shipshape adventures,
    Dustin
