Hi there Ian,
Welcome to planDisney and thanks so much for your question! I'm thrilled to hear that you're considering taking advantage of the Anaheim Resident Ticket Offer - it's a really great
promotion and I always get a little jealous of you Anaheim residents when I see it offered!
According to the
Important Details section of this special offer, it says that this "offer valid only for Anaheim residents within ZIP codes 92801 through 92809, 92812, 92814 through 92817, 92825, 92850 and 92899; proof of eligible residency, including valid government-issued photo ID, is required for purchase and admission."
They typically offer this promotion or a variation of it 1-2 times per year from what I've seen in the past, and from everything I've heard from Cast Members, it does need to be a government-issued photo ID that is used for both purchasing the promotional ticket and for entry for each Guest using a promotional ticket.
At planDisney, we panelists are Guests of Disney Parks & Resorts - like you - so the final say will be by the Cast Members at the entry gates when attempting to use the tickets. However, I'd recommend requesting an updated license that shows a residency within the valid ZIP codes to align with the promotion stipulations.
Regardless of whether you're both able to utilize this particular promotion or not - I do hope you and your fiancée have a wonderful time making new magical memories on your upcoming visit to the Happiest Place on Earth!
Thanks again for your question, Ian, and have a wonderful visit.
Have a Magical Day,
Greg
