My fiance' and I are getting married next year. As a small surprise I would love to take him to WDW for his first time. We would like to go in middle October and stay at Fort Wilderness (campsites) How is the weather in FL this time of year?

Samantha, congratulations on your upcoming wedding!  The Fall is a wonderful time to visit Walt Disney World.  My family and I have vacationed during October, and the weather was excellent, with highs in the middle 80s and lows in the middle 60s.  While the weather can certainly vary from year to year, the moderate temperatures and relatively low rainfall amounts in Central Florida at this time of year make it a great choice.

We have stayed at Fort Wilderness several times and absolutely love it!  You might consider experiencing the Hoop-De-Doo Musical Review at the Fort while you are there.  It is a fabulous way to spend an evening!  EPCOT's Food and Wine Festival is another excellent option to explore during your stay.

I hope your fiance' loves his surprise trip!
