My fiance and I are getting married in Disney World and are having the escape wedding. We are looking for a restaurant that will be kid friendly as well as sophisticated for the adults to have dinner on our wedding day. What restaurants do you recomend?

    Brandy:

Best wishes for your upcoming nuptials!

Several restaurants come to mind when I think of sophistication, but the one that I feel would appeal to the kids in the group is California Grill.

The menu offers everything from sushi to lamb for the adults and macaroni & cheese to steak for children!  What makes the restaurant appealing to all ages is its spectacular views of the WDW property.  From the restaurant you can see Cinderella Castle at Magic Kingdom and the Tower of Terror at Disney Studios.  The outside viewing terrace (that's practically a 360 degree, birds-eye view of Disney would) would delight anyone from 6 to 106!

Best of all, they have private dining rooms near the viewing terrace.  You might want to talk to your Disney wedding advisor to find out more information about these rooms if you've got a larger party!

    Wishing you a magical wedding!

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
