    My fiance and I were engaged at the Polynesian this January. We're getting married next year and are looking to stay there for our honeymoon but aren't sure where to begin planning with Disney, how much deposit and in advance?

    Hi, Katherine!

    Congratulations on your engagement, especially at Disney World!  My prince charming proposed to me almost 20 years ago in front of Cinderella Castle, and it is a great memory and story that we now share with our kids.  Someday you can share your fairytale story with our little ones!

    Rates for 2013 will be posted usually by mid-summer.  You will be able to book online and add on tickets, Dining Plan, or whatever you want to add to your magical Honeymoon.  A  package deposit of $200 will be required at booking with the balance due 45 days prior to your arrival.  If you decide to book "room only"  you need to place a deposit equal to one night's stay with the balance due at check-in.

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home.
