My fiance and I are going to disneyworld for our honeymoon this November and I was wondering which hotel would be romantic? Also would you recommend the horse and carraige ride?

    Hi Margaret,

Disney World is the perfect place to spend a honeymoon!!

There are so many incredible resorts at Disney World but my number one recommendation would be Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. Its magnificent! Its located on the monorail line so it would be convenient to the Magic Kingdom. Victoria & Albert's is an AMAZING restaurant with a very romantic atmosphere. There are awesome places to walk around, hold hands & watch the fireworks at the Magic Kingdom. You can relax and be pampered in their spa.

I also love the Boardwalk, Beach Club and Yacht Club resorts. They are all beautiful and it is a lot of fun to walk around the Boardwalk Inn area. These resorts offer easy access to Epcot and Hollywood Studios.

Animal Kingdom Lodge is super romantic. If you request a room with a Savannah view, you'll be able to see the animals from your room. Way cool!

I'd also recommend Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa or Old Key West. They have beautiful grounds & are located near Downtown Disney (DTD). DTD is a great place to spend an evening. You can have dinner, shop and soar high above for a spectacular view on Characters In Flight.

I would absolutely recommend a carriage ride! It is super romantic. Suzannah recently answered a question about the two current options - click here.

Wishing you many magical honeymoon memories :-) Allison
