My fiance and I are going to Disney for our honeymoon in April 2012 and we are debating between 3 resorts: the Polynesian, Wilderness, and Coronado. I am wondering which would have the best accommodations for honeymoon and best value for the money?

    Hi Michelle!

I think the most romantic resort at Walt Disney World is the Polynesian, followed by the Animal Kingdom Lodge, and then followed by the Wilderness Lodge.  The Polynesian really can't be beat for its location (on the Magic Kingdom monorail line), the incredible theming, and the romantic atmosphere.

However, with regards to the best value for the money, I recommend going with either the Animal Kingdom Lodge or the Wilderness Lodge.  Both are fabulous resorts, but the rooms are a little smaller and they are not on a monorail line.  The Wilderness Lodge offers boat service to the Magic Kingdom and buses everywhere else.  The Animal Kingdom Lodge only has bus service.  Some guests consider both to be "Moderate Deluxes" in the since that they are officially Disney Deluxe Resorts, but generally less expensive than the other Deluxe Resorts.

By the way, my personal favorite resort is the Wilderness Lodge.  I think it has the best theming in all of Walt Disney World and I love taking the boat to and from the Magic Kingdom.  However, if I was going on my honeymoon, I think I would go with the Polynesian!  Good luck with your decision and write back if you have any more questions!
