There's so much planning to do with a wedding it may be tough to plan the honeymoon at the same time, so you're right to get a start on things early. I would invest in several good Disney guidebooks: the Unofficial Guide to WDW, Birnbaum's guide, and the Passporter guide are must-haves for any Disney traveler. You might also add the Luxury Guide to WDW if you're splurging. I would also order the free vacation planning DVD from the WDW website and subscribe to the newsletters at allearsnet.com and passporter.com. After reviewing all this information, you'll be able to select your resort. You can book this up to 499 days in advance, and if you want something very particular, you should reserve as soon as possible. Bear in mind that the deluxe hotels have suites and concierge level rooms that can only be arranged at 407-W-DISNEY. Speak to a cast member at this number to book something extra-special.
Other aspects of your trip, dining reservations for example, cannot be booked until 180 days prior to your vacation. But you can read all about the restaurants and make some lists of where you'll want to eat, so that when the time comes, you'll be ready.
For the romance you'll want for the honeymoon, I suggest you look at ideas we've had on the Panel for other guests in similar situations. Click
