My fiance and I are considering a cruise for our honeymoon nov 2013. Are navy dress uniforms (his) acceptable attire for Remy? and are there any good spots on the ships to see the stars at night? I have never cruised anywhere before. Thanks for your help!

    Hello Erica!

First of all, CONGRATULATIONS on your upcoming marriage!  A Disney cruise for your honeymoon would certainly add many more magical, romantic memories to one of the most special times in your life!

Happily, I can guarantee that you can see stars from all of the decks, especially the top one!  You'll see nothing but a beautiful evening sky and twinkling stars.  To me, an after dinner walk on deck with my husband is the most romantic place on Earth.  You can stand at a railing, breath in the delicious, clean air and look up at the stars and Dream (get it?).  The ship is aptly named.  It's gorgeous and you couldn't pick a more amazing place for your honeymoon.

Your husband can most definitely wear his Navy dress uniform to Remy.  He can wear it to specific functions, obviously with no weaponry (as per Disney policy), and only in the evening.  I'm sure that he is aware of any other guidelines for the wearing of his dress uniform.

I really hope that you consider having your honeymoon on a Disney cruise.  You'll love it!  By the way, Disney Cruise Line is very proud of our military.  Please extend my personal "thank you" to your fiance for his dedication and service to our country.  Let me know if you have any other questions.  I'm always happy to help.
